Community social services and private sector workers are subject to three separate agreements: when the HSSA accepts a prize, an organisation certifies that it has a system in accordance with federal, federal and communal rules to use live vertebrates in research in a humane, efficient, effective and legal manner. In addition, it certifies that HSSA-funded vertebrate research has been verified and approved by the control agencies responsible for the use and maintenance of animals. Any HSSA-funded research on human subjects or vertebrates must have been verified and approved prior to the implementation of the grant agreement. All HSA members in the public health sector are covered by one of three main collective agreements: the Board of Directors of the Health Sciences and Services Authority (HSSA) consists of three appointed members (3) of the county, spokane and three (3) members appointed by the governor. HSSA`s mission is to promote the economic development of bioscience sciences and to promote new therapies and procedures to combat disease and promote public health, in accordance with Chapter 35.104 RCW. The HSSA Board of Directors has all the powers and obligations provided for by rcW 35,104.060, including the establishment and implementation of agreements, contacts and other instruments with public or private entities or persons covered by Chapter 35,104 RCW. When conducting HSSA-funded research or increasing research infrastructure capacity, it is essential that the personal interests of investigators or proponents of the proposal do not interfere with their judgment or compromise their objectivity. Even the perception of a conflict of interest has the potential to undermine public confidence in the research process. It is essential that the candidate organizations pursue a financial conflict of interest and that all proposals submitted to HSSA have been reviewed in accordance with this policy. Upon the adoption of an arbitration award, the requesting body of HSSA certifies in the grant agreement that any financial conflicts of staff involved in the funded research or infrastructure project have been made public and that all conflicts have been resolved or mitigated. Candidate organizations that do not have a financial conflict of interest directive should consult with HSSA at an early stage of the application process to discuss how the review of the financial conflict of interest is conducted.
